Original WWII Dutch ‘Reserved’ sign for the Police from Amersfoort

This Dutch paper ‘Reserved’ sign from 1943 was used on the Dutch railways during the Second World War.
This sign was placed in a train carriage and indicated that the seats were reserved for the Dutch Police from Amersfoort, who were on their way to Utrecht.
The piece is filled in by hand with details such as Amersfoort – Utrecht, Politie Amersfoort, the number of 121 persons, and the date 28-1-1944.
An interesting item for any Militaria or Second World War collection!

Origineel WWII Nederlands ‘Gereserveerd’ bordje Politie Amersfoort 

Dit papieren ‘Gereserveerd’ bordje uit 1943 werd gebruikt in de Nederlandse spoorwegen tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Dit bordje hing in een treinwagon en gaf aan dat de plaatsen waren gereserveerd voor de Nederlandse Politie uit Amersfoort, die onderweg was naar Utrecht.
Het stuk is voorzien van handgeschreven invulling met o.a. de aanduiding Amersfoort – Utrecht, Politie Amersfoort, het aantal van 121 personen, en de datum 28-1-1944.
