Original WWII German Reichsluftschutzbund door sign

This German Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) door or house sign from the Second World War is in good condition and was originally mounted by a door.
This aluminium sign measures 12 x 8 cm and prominently displays the RLB emblem with sunburst, blue letters, and a black lacquered swastika, executed in relief.
Below it reads in Gothic script “L-S Hauswart”, indicating that the sign was affixed to the residence or building of an official air raid warden.
The sign is fitted with four mounting holes in the corners, allowing it to be firmly attached to a wall or door.

Origineel WWII Duits Reichsluftschutzbund deur bordje 

Dit Duitse Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) deur- of huisbordje uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog is in goede conditie en hing bij een deur.
Dit aluminium bordje meet 12 x 8 cm en toont centraal het opvallende RLB-embleem met stralenkrans, blauwe letters en een zwart gelakt hakenkruis, uitgevoerd in reliëf.
Daaronder staat in gotisch schrift de aanduiding „L-S Hauswart”, wat erop wijst dat dit bordje aan de woning of het gebouw van een officiële luchtbeschermings-huiswacht werd bevestigd.
Het bord is voorzien van vier ophanggaten in de hoeken, waarmee het stevig aan de gevel of deur kon worden bevestigd.
