Original WWII German field made Splittertarn camouflage trousers

This German camouflage trousers are a unique field-made example in the iconic Splittertarn pattern.
The trousers are made from camouflage fabric originally intended for zeltbahnen (shelter quarters), which was typical for improvised and tailor-made field garments. The recognizable Splittertarn motif in green and brown tones with the raindrop effect gives the trousers their characteristic appearance.
They feature a button closure with original buttons marked “Montague Button,” and are equipped with practical side pockets and a rear pocket.

Deze Duitse camouflagebroek is een bijzonder veldgemaakt exemplaar in het iconische Splittertarn patroon.
De broek is vervaardigd uit camouflage-doek dat oorspronkelijk bedoeld was voor zeltbahnen (tentzeilen), wat typerend is voor geïmproviseerde en op maat gemaakte kledingstukken uit het veld.
Het herkenbare Splittertarn-motief in groen- en bruintinten met regendruppel-effect geeft de broek zijn karakteristieke uitstraling.
