Original WWII German Kriegsmarine Minerva stopwatch

This very rare Minerva Kriegsmarine stopwatch dates from the Second World War and was used by the German navy as a precision instrument for navigation and timing on board ships and U-boats.
It is an authentic example with a black dial, numerals, and two subdials, including a 30-minute counter.
On the reverse side, the official Kriegsmarine acceptance stamp with eagle, the letter M, and the serial number Artl. 8739 is clearly engraved, confirming its issue for the navy.
The stopwatch was manufactured by Minerva, a renowned Swiss watchmaker known for its quality and precision.
The case is made of nickel-plated metal and shows traces of use consistent with its age, but the watch is in working condition.

Deze zeldzame Minerva Kriegsmarine stopwatch dateert uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog en werd door de Duitse marine gebruikt als precisie-instrument voor navigatie en timing aan boord van schepen en U-boten.
Het gaat hier om een authentiek exemplaar met zwarte wijzerplaat, cijfers en twee subdials, waaronder een 30-minuten teller.
Op de achterzijde is het officiële Kriegsmarine-acceptatiestempel met adelaar, de letter M en het serienummer Artl. 8739 duidelijk zichtbaar gegraveerd, waarmee de uitgifte voor de marine wordt bevestigd.
De stopwatch is vervaardigd door Minerva, een gerenommeerde Zwitserse horlogemaker die bekendstaat om zijn kwaliteit en precisie.
