This Dutch Waffen-SS Wehrpass with sleeve and SS-Überwachungskarte is in good condition and belonged to a Dutchman who served with the SS Rasse und Siedlungshauptamt in Berlin.
He was originally born on October 10, 1921 in Altenoythe and was in first agricultural laborer by profession.
The man joined the Waffen-SS on April 3, 1943 at the SS Ersatzkommando in the Netherlands.
The Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt der SS (RuSHA) was based in Berlin, Germany.

Its headquarters were specifically located at the Knesebeckstraße 100, in the Charlottenburg district of the city.
Founded in 1931, RuSHA played a central role within the SS organization in the areas of “racial purity,” genealogical research and controlling marriages within the SS.
Later, it also engaged in colonization and Germanization projects in occupied territories, especially in Eastern Europe.

Deze Nederlandse Waffen-SS Wehrpass met hoes en SS-Überwachungskarte is in goede conditie en behoorde tot een Nederlander welke diende bij het SS Rasse und Siedlungshauptamt in Berlijn.
Hij werd oorspronkelijk geboren op 10 oktober 1921 in Altenoythe en was in eerste landarbeider van beroep.
De man trad toe tot de Waffen-SS op 3 april 1943 bij het SS-Ersatzkommando in Nederland.
Het Rasse- und Siedlungshauptamt der SS (RuSHA) was gevestigd in Berlijn, Duitsland.

Het hoofdkwartier bevond zich specifiek aan de Knesebeckstraße 100, in het stadsdeel Charlottenburg.
RuSHA werd in 1931 opgericht en speelde een centrale rol binnen de SS-organisatie op het gebied van “raszuiverheid”, genealogisch onderzoek en het controleren van huwelijken binnen de SS.
Later hield het zich ook bezig met kolonisatie- en germaniseringsprojecten in bezette gebieden, vooral in Oost-Europa.

Wehrpassen van Nederlandse vrijwilligers en zelfs van de RuSHA zijn zeer schaars en lastig te vinden.
Een zeer interessante set voor de Nederlandse collaboratie of SS collectie!
