The National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands
The NSB (National Socialist Movement) was a far-right political party in the Netherlands, founded in 1931 by Anton Mussert.
Inspired by fascism and National Socialism, the NSB became the most well-known collaborationist party during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II.
Under Mussert’s leadership, the NSB actively cooperated with the occupying forces, though it remained largely unpopular among the Dutch population. After the liberation in 1945, the NSB was banned, and many of its members were prosecuted for collaboration.
The history of the NSB remains an important subject in the study of World War II and Dutch political history.

De Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland
De NSB (Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging) was een extreemrechtse politieke partij in Nederland, opgericht in 1931 door Anton Mussert. Geïnspireerd door het fascisme en nationaalsocialisme, groeide de NSB uit tot de bekendste collaborerende partij tijdens de Duitse bezetting van Nederland in de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
Onder leiding van Mussert werkte de NSB samen met de Duitse bezetter, maar de partij bleef impopulair onder de meeste Nederlanders.
Na de bevrijding in 1945 werd de NSB verboden en volgden er rechtszaken tegen vele leden wegens collaboratie.
De geschiedenis van de NSB blijft een belangrijk onderwerp binnen de studie van de Tweede Wereldoorlog en Nederlandse politieke geschiedenis.
