Original WWII German photo set from the personal possession of Reichskommissar Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart in The Hague

This photo set is from the personal possession of SS-Obergruppenführer and Reichskommissar Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart and it concerns 70 photos mostly showing the Fuhrerinnentreffens des BDM in the Netherlands from September 25 – 28 in 1941 The Hague.
On these dates the Hitlerjugend and the BDM came to The Hague to join the Dutch Nationale Jeugdstorm connection and conduct sporting events and participate in typical Dutch activities.
The photos were taken by an SS photographer “Fritz” and then attached to a cardboard sheet for Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart.
The cardboard sheets are therefore stamped on the back with Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart’s personal stamp from The Hague.
The photographs show many subjects and persons such as Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart, Youth Storm Head Stormer Cornelis van Geelkerken, Head Stormer Lien van Eck, Generalkommissar z.b.V. Fritz Schmidt and many high-ranking members of the Hitler Youth/BDM.
The photographs were mainly taken in the Netherlands in The Hague at the Binnenhof, Station and the inner city.
There are also photographs at Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart’s villa on the Clingendael estate.
The photographs are very sharp and clear and have various details such as insignia on uniforms and known collaboration or HJ/BDM persons.

Originele WWII Duitse foto set uit het persoonlijke bezit van Reichskommissar Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart in Den Haag

Deze foto set is afkomstig uit het persoonlijke bezit van SS-Obergruppenführer en Reichskommissar Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart en het betreft 70 groot formaat foto’s met veelal de Fuhrerinnentreffens des BDM in Nederland van 25 – 28 September in 1941 Den Haag.
Op deze datums kwam de Hitlerjugend en de BDM naar Den Haag om samen de Nederlandse Nationale Jeugdstorm verbinding te zoeken en sportevenementen en Hollandse activiteiten uit te voeren.
De foto’s werden gemaakt door een SS fotograaf ‘Fritz’ en werden daarna voor Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart op een kartonnen blad bevestigd.
De kartonnen bladen zijn dan ook aan de achterzijde gestempeld met Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart zijn persoonlijke stempel uit Den Haag.
Op de foto’s zijn vele onderwerpen en personen te zien zoals Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart, Jeugdstorm Hoofdstormer Cornelis van Geelkerken, Hoofdstormster Lien van Eck, Generalkommissar z.b.V. Fritz Schmidt en vele hooggeplaatsten van de Hitlerjugend/BDM.
De foto’s werden voornamelijk gemaakt in Nederland in Den Haag op het Binnenhof, Station en de binnenstad.
Ook zijn er foto’s bij de villa van Dr. Arthur Seyss-Inquart op het landgoed Clingendael.
De foto’s zijn erg scherp en duidelijk en kennen verschillende details zoals emblemen op uniformen en bekende collaboratie of HJ/BDM personen.
Afmetingen kartonnen blad waar de foto op bevestigd zit: 28,5 x 23 cm.
Een bijzondere interessante foto set uit het persoonlijke bezit van de Rijkscommissaris van Nederland tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
