Original WWII British Airborne Denison camouflage smock 1942

This British Airborne Denison smock is in good worn condition and it is the first type from 1942 with hand-painted camouflage.
The smock is a size 6 and was produced by P.Frankenstein & Sons.
The zipper is in working condition and marked “Lightning” and the snaps are marked Newey pat.
Also attached to this camouflage smock is the pistol cord.
This type of camouflage smock was worn by British paratroopers during operations such as D-Day or the Battle of Arnhem.
The size of this Airborne is good for on a bust or a mannequin in a display.

Deze Britse Airborne Denison smock is in goede gedragen conditie en het betreft het eerste type uit 1942 met handgeschilderde camouflage.
De smock heeft de maat 6 en werd geproduceerd door P.Frankenstein & Sons.
De rits is in werkende conditie en gemarkeerd met ‘Lightning’ en de drukknopen zijn gemarkeerd met Newey pat.
Aan deze camouflage smock zit ook nog het pistool koord.
Dit soort camouflage smocks werden door Britse parachutisten gedragen tijdens operaties zoals D-Day of de slag om Arnhem.
De maat van deze Airborne is goed voor op een buste of een mannequin in een display.
