Original WWII Russian M19 NKVD Budenovka

The budenovka is in used but fine condition and this is the so-called M27 model that was worn by the Russian NKVD during World War II.
It has two copper buttons on the outside.
The Budenovka (будёновка) was a distinctive type of hat, an archetypal part of the Communist military uniforms of the Russian Civil War (1917-1922) and later conflicts such as World War II.
The official name of the hat was the ‘broadcloth helmet’ (шлем суконный).
It was named after Red Army cavalry commander Semyon Budyonny.

Originele WWII Russische M27 NKVD Budenovka muts

De Budenovka is in een gebruikte maar prima conditie en dit is het welbekende M17 model dat gedragen werd door de NKVD  tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
De Budenovka heeft aan de buitenzijde twee koperen knopen.
De Budenovka (будёновка) was een onderscheidende type muts, een kenmerkend onderdeel van de communistische militaire uniformen van de Russische burgeroorlog (1917-1922) en latere conflicten zoals de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
De officiële naam van de muts was de ‘lakenhelm’ (шлем суконный).
De Budenovka is vernoemd naar de cavaleriecommandant van het Rode Leger, Semyon Budyonny.
