The M40 helmet is in used but fine condition and was recently found in Denmark.
It concerns a Küstenartillerie helmet with the typical gray Kriegsmarine color on the outside, also called ‘Shipboard grey’.
An interesting detail is that a black border is painted around the decal.

De M40 helm is in gebruikte maar prima conditie en werd onlangs gevonden in Denemarken.
Het betreft een Küstenartillerie helm met de typische grijze Kriegsmarine kleur aan de buitenzijde, ook wel ‘Shipboard grey’ genoemd.
Een interessant detail is dat rondom het decal een zwarte rand is geverfd.
