The Mannlicher M95 was designed by the famous Austrian weapon designer Ferdinand Ritter von Mannlicher. He based his new rifle on the type he had already invented in 1890.

De Mannlicher M95 werd ontworpen door de beroemde Oostenrijkse wapenontwerper Ferdinand Ritter von Mannlicher. Hij baseerde zijn nieuwe geweer op het type dat hij al in 1890 had uitgevonden.
